WOOL TAPE & BRAID

Worsted wool tape sometimes called "lace"  as used extensively in the 18th. century.  It could be found on petticoat and gown hems, wallets, Regimental coats, Native American garments, bed hangings and slipcovers.  Hats were bound with it and garments closed with it.  Our tapes are 100% worsted yarn, which means they will hold up well for clothing or home furnishings maintaining a smooth appearance.
