In run-away ads, portraits, genre art, advertisements and thefts we find handkerchiefs or neck-handkerchiefs of many descriptions.  Worn by women and men for fashion and practicality through out the 18th century and on in to the 19th century.   Our  cotton neck-handkerchiefs are extremely fine and sheer and closely match original India cottons we have looked at.  Measuring approximately 34 inches square, our neck-handkerchiefs are made of hand loomed cotton mul and hand finished.  Suitable for dying if you wish.
