100% Linen 45 inches wide
Garlix or Garlick of the 18th
century was one of the most commonly imported materials to the colonies.
It was stout serviceable linen most often half-bleached or bleached. It
was considered to be a good household textile and was broadly used for
utilitarian clothing such as aprons, linings, coarse shirts, children's clothes,
pockets, bags as well as household items such as sheets, cushions etc. Our
Linen is narrow with an excellent finished selvage edge making it perfect for
reproduction work where the selvage edge is used.
